TOKYO DISNEY® RESORT – LONDON AUDITION BREAKDOWN – SPRING TOUR 2012
Disney Parks Talent Casting, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking
Principal Vocalists and Dancers
for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Performers bring exciting, up close entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a visually stunning live show celebrating the mystic rhythms of the jungle, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others.
Six month or longer contracts begin July through September 2012.
ROLES VOCALISTS
Diamond Jim: Male, 20s-30s, Caucasian, 5'10"-6'1", slender to normal build, strong and handsome leading man for the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, moves well, engaging with great ability to interact with an audience, Baritone with a beautiful, rich sound. ($840 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Slue Foot Sue: Female, late 20s, Caucasian, 5'4"-5'7", slender build, charismatic and playful owner of the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, lights up the stage with her engaging personality, great with audience interaction, Soprano/Belt. ($840 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
’40s-style Male Vocalist: Male, late 20s-40s, African-heritage or Caucasian, 5'9”+, thin to average build, seasoned principal vocalist for "Big Band Beat", a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, handsome and charismatic, can command a stage with his star quality and charm, moves well, Baritone/Tenor to a G. ($930 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
’40s-style Female Vocalist: Female, 20s-40s, Caucasian, 5'3"-5'7", slender build, epitome of '40s glamour, charismatic with strong stage presence for "Big Band Beat", a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, moves well, Soprano/Belt. ($930 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Blues Singer: Female, 20s-40s, African-heritage, 5'3"-5'7", slender to curvy build, glamorous and beautiful, charismatic with strong stage presence for "Big Band Beat", a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, moves well, tap a plus, Belt. ($930 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem
Latin-style Pop Tenor: Male, 20s-30s, Latino, 5'9"+, slender to normal build, good physique, pop idol looks and great charisma for "Minnie, Oh Minnie!", a Latin-flavored revue, moves well, ability to sing in Spanish a plus, Pop Tenor to A flat. ($840 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
DANCERS
Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9”+, Females 5’3”-5’6”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Athletic Male Dancers with Ethnic Look: 5’6”+ , exotic looking, athletic with strong physiques for a lavish multi-sensory production exploring the “Mystic Rhythms” of a tropical rainforest, must have strong abdominal/back muscles. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’8”+, strong solo tappers trained in jazz with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers. ($760 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
